Individual and small group walks across Hitchin's beautiful parks and countryside. Your dog gets the exercise, stimulation and attention they deserve.
Day Sitting
A fun, safe and social day for your dog while you're at work or busy. I come to your home so your dog stays comfortable in familiar surroundings. Available 8am–5pm.
Overnight Sitting
Going away? I stay in your home so your dog sleeps in their own bed with all the comforts they're used to. Includes walks, feeds, enrichment and lots of TLC.

45 minute initial meet for new customers

£15Prices may vary during school holidays and on bank holidays. Emergency rates apply for last minute bookings. Additional charges may apply to cover petrol costs and travel time if a service is outside the usual working area.

I'm an award-winning pet care professional based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. I set up Home & Hound because I genuinely love what I do—caring for dogs is my passion, not just my job.
Every dog in my care is treated like my own. I'm fully insured, DBS checked and trained in canine first aid, so you can have complete peace of mind.

Beth
Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
A lifelong animal lover who has been surrounded by cats and dogs since the age of six, Beth shares her home with two cats, a lively Westie and an older Patterdale Terrier. A Level 3 qualified dog groomer since 2023, she is also trained in canine first aid and emergency care — and dreams of one day opening her own animal rescue.
Emma
Pet Sitter
Hitchin-based Emma brings over six years of pet-sitting experience and a loyal community of repeat cat-sitting clients. She cares for her own Romanian rescue dog, Edie, and is known for being calm, attentive and dependable. She is trained in canine first aid too.
Kara
Dog Walker
Kara has been surrounded by dogs, cats and horses for as long as she can remember. She owns a black Labrador, Inca — who has travelled across Europe with her and loves gun-dog training — and spends downtime with the family's Connemara pony, Alfie. Calm, patient and reliable, she is trained in canine first aid and emergency care.
Tillie
Dog Sitter · Holiday Cover
Based in Old Town Stevenage, Tillie helps the team with dog sitting through the busy holiday periods. She is studying Criminology at the University of Kent and hopes to pursue a career in police dog training. With two energetic dogs of her own, she is also trained in canine first aid and emergency care.
